My mom has perfected making her home feel cozy and appropriately decorated for every holiday. She changes out pillows, blankets, table and mantel decor, the works. One of my favorite spots to check out each holiday is her table of old photos. She has an array of themed picture frames that host memories of past holiday gatherings. It’s so cute to see everyone throughout the years with all their holiday spirit and to remember how special those moments felt.

It’s because of that feeling that I always keep an eye out for holiday themed picture frames. I was at Michael’s craft store trying to come up with a fun project for a girl’s weekend when I saw plain wooden frames for ONE dollar and decided that it would be fun to make my own Christmas frames. I bought frames, paint, twine, bows, sticky pearls and other decals from the scrapbooking section of the store.

I chose muted Christmas colors, burlap, twine and more of a rustic feel for my frames. I think they turned out pretty darn cute!
