Want a healthy treat this Christmas? Well, despite natural peanut butter being the main ingredient, this is NOT it. These peanut butter balls are D-I-V-I-N-E and worth every calorie! We made them during my family cookie baking party last weekend and cannot stop eating them. They are best made with a group because rolling all those balls and dipping each one in chocolate can be a bit tedious! This is a deliciously messy recipe for the kiddos to help out with!

Nom, nom, nom

Here are a few of the specific products I used to make these treats:
Cereal
Natural creamy peanut butter
Milk chocolate chips
Wax paper

Ingredients
  1. 3 cups Rice Krispies® cereal
  2. 2 cups Jif® natural creamy peanut butter
  3. 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  4. 3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  5. 2 bags milk chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Mix peanut butter and unsalted butter with your Kitchen Aid until creamy. Add powdered sugar. Mix. Add cereal and mix until blended.
  2. Throw in refrigerator for an hour. I didn’t do this step because I didn’t have room in my fridge at the time and I wish I would have!
  3. Once cooled roll balls of peanut butter mixture and place on wax paper.
  4. Place one bag of chocolate chips in microwaveable bowl. Heat on 50% power in one minute increments until melted. It took me about 3 minutes to melt my chocolate.
  5. Dip peanut butter balls into melted chocolate.
  6. My aunt taught me a good trick – Use two forks, one to lift the peanut butter ball out of the chocolate and then tap on the side of your bowl to release excess chocolate. Use the second to slide the ball off your other fork onto the wax paper to harden.
  7. Heat your other bag of chocolate and complete the rest of your balls!
