Several of these items were gifted from Oriental Trading Company to be included in this Valentine’s Day Party post.
A fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with kiddos is to setup a breakfast donut party! It’s a sweet way to enjoy the holiday in the morning with your kids so that your evening is free for a romantic date with your hubby. Even if all you do is end up ordering a heart-shaped pizza and renting a movie to watch together, you still have the night to focus on each other 😉
I purchased all these adorable decorations from Oriental Trading Company and picked up fresh donuts from our local grocery store to pull it all together. After you clean up the donuts and all the sweets you can put out pink and red paper, crayons, and jewels for a fun craft project after breakfast. Evie can’t wait to give out these crayon Valentine’s to all her friends!
Here’s an easy shopping guide to recreate this Valentine’s Day Donut Party for your own kids or maybe even your classroom.
V-DAY PARTY SUPPLIES
- Spill-proof Table Cloth
- Pink Plates
- XOXO Napkins
- Chevron Paper Straws
- Donut Arrow Picks
- Candy Hearts
- Rock Candy
- Milk Bottles
- Heart Bracelets
- Crayon Valentine’s
- Shades of Red & Pink Paper
- Heart Jewels
- More V-Day Decor
My favorite part of the entire setup are the glass bottles that I used for milk. The rainbow heart bracelets fit around them perfectly and the hot pink chevron straws added that final touch. The glass jars actually come with little plastic tops, so if you’re worried about spills just drill a hole in the plastic top for the straw to fit through and wa-lah, you’ve got a nice kid-friendly (and cute) drinking cup!
How does your family celebrate Valentine’s Day? xoxo
