I’ve never decorated my bedroom for Christmas before. But, since I haven’t hung anything on the walls yet since moving in this spring, I decided it would be fun to create a cozy farmhouse Christmas bedroom to enjoy over the holidays. Twinkly lights, a pretty garland, THE perfect sign, and lots of plump pillows make me want to stay in bed ALL day!
Sleep in Heavenly Peace Sign
I’m loving my new handcrafted Sleep in Heavenly Peace Sign created for me by Jen at The Old White Shed. She made my cute trio of signs that I decorated my fall inspired mantel with as well. You can go see those here. I’m really excited about my new bedroom sign because I don’t really have to take it down right after Christmas. I can keep it up as long as I’d like! Like Jen says, “Don’t we ALWAYS want to sleep in Heavenly peace?” 🙂
Christmas Items to Shop
Christmas Bedding & Pillows
My new euro sized pillow covers made for me by Look Here Jane are simply gorgeous and give my everyday white bedding that simple Christmas touch. I love the farmhouse ticking fabric that has a subtle candy cane stripe vibe. Jane was the one who also made those gorgeous buffalo check print pillows and table runner that I featured in my Fall Home Tour.
I purchased these red striped flannel sheets from Target and they are the coziest sheets EVER for cold winter nights! I love getting into bed each night to cuddle into these sheets. Ahhh, dreaming about it right now!
Christmas Decor & Accessories
This Holidays at Home candle by Wick Apothecary smells divine! Seriously, divine! I burn candles every single evening so I know a good candle when I come across one and her candles are the best! If you want that Christmas tree scent, go buy her Frasier Fir candle now!
The beautiful white felt ball garland that I added to an old Christmas garland and draped along my headboard was created by fellow Wisconsinite Heather from Wooly Sheep Dots. Her adorable pink peppermint garland was recently mentioned in the December issue of Country Living Magazine! How cool is that?!
I borrowed two Christmas books from my cousin that I’m going to try to read this month! I’m going to start with Anita Hughes’ Christmas in London and then try to get to Debbie Macomber’s Twelve Days of Christmas afterwards! By the way, aren’t the three little white houses and bottle brush trees on my nightstand so simple and cute? Thank you Target Dollar Spot!
