Broccoli salad is another family favorite. My husband doesn’t typically like deli salads that have a ton of mayo in them, so creamy cole slaw and potato salad only make rare appearances in our household. But for some reason, he likes this broccoli salad. I think the sugar disguises the taste of the mayo enough for him to like it!

I haven’t made this too often as it’s readily available at any grocery deli around, but I decided to add some favorite Wisconsin ingredients and make my own version, packed with cheddar cheese, cranberries and bacon! A few Wisconsin favorites.

Evelyn was not a huge fan. Waaaay to many veggies in it for her. So she got spagetti instead. Ahhh, toddlers. How do you all get your toddlers to eat their vegetables?

  1. My mom makes a version of this that I love, but I’m interested to try your recipe! We never used the cranberries or nuts but that sounds great!

  2. Looks yummy – my husband loves broccoli and I’m sure he’d love this! As far as getting your toddler to eat veggies, when you find out the secret, let me know. I have a 13 month old and a 7 year old that won’t touch veggies!
