THE BOOK | Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks
MY REVIEW | Wow, I read this one quickly. It was one of those books that keeps you reading past your bedtime to find out more. I didn’t really get into Nicholas Sparks’ last book, See Me, so I didn’t have high expectations for this book either, but I loved it.
The story revolves around Russell Green, a 32 year old dad who seems to have the American Dream life. He has a wonderful daughter, a beautiful wife Vivian, a promising career, and a nice home. The book quickly moves into an emotional story about how his perfect life starts to unravel, and how he deals with it all while taking care of his six year old daughter. The story is ultimately about unconditional love and the basic parent instinct of doing anything it takes for your child.
You will cheer for the dad and be ashamed and angry with the mother. When Vivian is suddenly out of the picture for a majority of the time, Russell is forced to play a critical role in his daughter’s life as a somewhat single parent, trying to fill the void of a once stay-at-home mother, to a mostly absent mother. You fall in love with the wonderful relationship between a dad and his daughter. I cried, I laughed, and I truly felt the feelings of the characters while reading this story.
I still can’t believe how quickly I finished this book. I would definitely add this one to your reading list if you haven’t already. Just click on the book cover below to add it to your Amazon cart.
What’s the next book? I’ll be posting the announcement on March 1st!

That book sounds interesting! I love books when you can’t put them down. I must admit, I love most of his novels, although I didn’t read See Me.
It’s very different from his other novels. It’s more of a suspense novel.
I havent actually read the Nicholas Spark books yet. But I am almost done with my current series and looking for a new one!
If you like love stories you’ll love Nicholas Sparks 🙂
