THE BOOK | Big Little Lies

MY REVIEW | The reason I originally picked this book is because I saw that it was turning into an HBO® limited TV series starring Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon! I follow Reese on Instagram and I saw she was reading it and an actress in the series, so of course, I had to add it to my list. 

It took me a little while to get into the book, but once it started moving along, I couldn’t put it down. It was just so fascinating and the characters were fun and interesting. The book follows the lives of three girlfriends leading up to an unrevealed death. While you read the book, you are constantly guessing both who murdered someone and who was the victim. I like those sort of guessing games because this one definitely keeps you guessing until the very end. 

I’m curious if any of you figured it out before the victim and killer were revealed? I guessed the victim in advance, but not the killer! 

I have now watched all the episodes in the mini-series minus the finale! I haven’t been able to finish because I don’t have HBO, but I do have Amazon Prime, so I’m going to sign-up for the HBO 7-day trial subscription and watch the finale! Click here to join HBO Free Trial. It is SOOOO good!
