Thank you Cuties for sponsoring this fun kids table post!
Christmas is just a few days away and everyone is busy with final preparation for all the fun festivities ahead. It’s that time of year when we all go above and beyond to make everything feel a little bit more special for our family and friends. I have been busy this week buying last minute gifts, cleaning the house, doing holiday crafts with the kids, sending greeting cards, and trying to finish wrapping presents! There are SO many more things to check off on my to do list, but one of the items that I added this year is to craft a fresh and colorful kids table for Christmas.
I wanted to create a spot where the kids can sit and be silly and playful. A place where they can laugh and color while enjoying a fresh and healthy snack before the big family dinner. I used one of my go-to healthy treats, Cuties, as the centerpiece and surrounded the pretty bowl by greenery from an arborvitae in the backyard. A wooden tray anchored the bowl of Cuties, and I fanned out the greenery to act as the table runner. I scattered extra Cuties so that they would be easy to grab for little arms and hands.
Beneath it all, is a white paper tablecloth, perfect for coloring on. And what fun for the kiddos to get to color all over the tablecloth at a “fancy” Christmas dinner! I filled little silver buckets with plenty of crayons. Festive paper plates and napkins accompanied by gold plastic flatware and candy canes made for the perfect kid-friendly place settings. I placed a soft reindeer ornament at each spot as a small gift for each of the kids to take home.
Evelyn pushed aside her plate, peeled open a Cutie, and got right to coloring. I love that Cuties are seedless and easy enough for kids to peel themselves! They are the perfect sweet snack for small hands.
This DIY table setup is a colorful and fresh way to make the kids table just a little more fun this year! My hope is that it encourages laughter and love. But most of all, I hope it helps create those special memories of having fun with family.
Cuties is celebrating the return of the delicious little fruit with #100DaysofSunshine, reminding us to share the sweetness of the season by spreading love and kindness. So, when you’re picking up your final grocery items or running into the store to grab a last minute gift, pick up a bag of Cuties, a box of crayons, and a few extra items to create a fun atmosphere for the kids table this Christmas.
Merry Christmas!
Stunning!!! I love how organic this is…and it’s interactive for the kiddos! Great ideas.
