Evelyn’s big girl bedroom turned out SO cute! The one thing she kept asking for throughout the building process was a purple bedroom. She wanted purple everything. She even asked for a purple front door on our house. Haha!
As you can probably tell from the room reveals I’ve posted so far, I’m not into over color-theming by any means. So, I used a lot of the blush pink and ivory items that were from her nursery and tied in little pops of lavender throughout her space. I’ll link up as many items as I can at the bottom of this post. Check out how it turned out for yourself…

The dressers are my husband’s childhood dressers from his nursery when he was a baby. They were a dark brown color and pretty beat up, so I painted them and switched out some of the hardware. You can see that DIY project here.
The tassel rug is from Lorena Canals. We also have one in Levi’s nursery and the reason why I love their rugs is because they are machine washable! I can wash and dry them without worrying. Who wants to worry about spot treating a rug in a kids room?! Not me! This is the Azteca Natural rug and the pattern adds a vintage feel to her room which ties into her nostalgic dressers.
Her bed is a solid wood antique that I found from a local seller. My husband painted it the same color as the dressers to give it a refresh. It was actually ivory when I bought it, but it was dingy looking. Fresh paint did wonders. When I saw the spindle details on the headboard I knew I had to have it for Evie’s room.
I love fans in bedrooms. There’s just something about that light sound of air moving and a soft breeze that feels so good while sleeping. Her fan is the Ocala fan in fresh white by Hunter. I originally had the fresh white blades showing, but I had my husband flip them to the washed walnut side for a little pop of texture on the ceiling. They go perfectly with the other natural-colored elements in her room. I actually also have the noble bronze version of this same Ocala fan in my master bedroom.
Every time I ask Evie what her favorite thing about our new home is, she says her bedroom. She loves spending time in her new big girl bedroom. She sets up all her animals and figurines along the low dresser and calls it “Costa Rica world”. She still brings up our trip to Costa Rica even though she was only two when we went! Kids can have crazy good memories.
Okay, I promised to link up as many items as I could from her bedroom, so here you go!

What color paint are the walls?
They are Ceiling Bright White by Sherwin Williams. I actually wish I would have went with the color of the trim which is Sherwin Williams Straight White – no tint 😊
Would you share what paint color that is on the walls?
It’s ceiling bright white by Sherwin Williams. I actually wouldn’t use it again. It pulls a green hue. I would get something like Pure White!
