Since we recently transitioned Levi from his baby crib to a toddler bed, we decided to give him a Christmas Truck Kids Bedroom for the holidays! Our little guy is all about trucks. He’s obsessed, to say the least.

BABY CRIB TO TODDLER RAIL TRANSITION
It was long over due to remove the baby crib rail on Levi’s Cameo crib by Milk Street and attach the coordinating toddler rail. He had been climbing in and out of his crib, and that’s when you know it’s time. This mama, was a bit sad to make the transition, but I’m just happy I don’t have to put his beautiful crib away.
Milk Street cribs are designed to grow with your child. The furniture is beautifully crafted and designed. The solid wood, hand-applied stains, and gorgeous details put into each piece make them wonderful investment pieces for your baby’s childhood and beyond.
From crib, to toddler bed, to full size adult bed – I never have to put Levi’s crib away, making his milestone transitions just a bit easier on mom’s emotions.
CHRISTMAS TRUCK KIDS BEDROOM
Since we made the transition to his toddler bed right before Christmas, we decided to make it special for him by giving him a Christmas Truck bedroom. It’s been a HUGE HIT!
It all started when I stumbled across his puppy Christmas truck sheets created by PerfectlyLouDesigns. I fell in love with the watercolor trees and that iconic red Christmas truck.
I added black and white buffalo check blankets and pillows, a truck light, garland, and of course, a Christmas tree to create a traditional red + green holiday scene.
Etsy shop, Stamped Sentiments, made me his green book stack and Christmas truck garland to add to his space. Levi loves the little truck hanging at the end of the beads.
He loves using the lights of the Christmas tree and the hanging red truck as his nightlights. We didn’t have any trouble with the transition from his baby crib to his toddler bed. He was just so excited to be in there!
His biggest decision each night, is whether we wants to sleep on his puppy Christmas truck pillow or his decorative buffalo check pillow. Haha! How cute is that!?
Check out Levi’s nursery before the transition in our new house here and in our old house here. Read more about Milk Street founder and designer Julie Knisley here. She has designed cribs for both Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn before branching out on her own!
