My Christmas collection has grown into a mix of farmhouse style decor pieces combined with traditional red and green favorites. Modern whites, natural wood, and fresh greenery keep our home in it’s year-round aesthetic, while traditional red and green decor remind us of the magic of Christmas from our own childhoods. I want our children to feel the same magic we felt as kids. Their contagious excitement that shows when we pull out our Christmas treasures makes all the work of decorating for the holidays well worth it!

FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS FRONT PORCH
Welcome to our home! One of my favorite spaces to decorate is the area where we welcome guests into our home. I placed an evergreen tree in an old apple crate for that rustic farmhouse feel and added red dogwood branches from our neighbors backyard in a metal vase behind it.
Our new large BELIEVE sign handmade with love by Etsy shop Devout Signs holds two special meanings for us. We believe in the magic of Christmas and Santa, but also in the true meaning of Christmas which is the birth of Jesus Christ.
I tied a woodsy wreath to my white rocking chair and draped an old plaid scarf along the seat. My red garden boots stuffed with flocked evergreen branches add a touch of farmhouse whimsy. I love the bronze bells hanging from the pine wreath that jingle as we open the door. I’ll have to add a new garland around the door frame next year, as I discovered my old set no longer works after hanging it! Some things you just have to let go until next year 🙂

FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS MANTLE + TREE
My mantel is filled with special Christmas treasures to create this farmhouse style mantle! Our year-round art is covered in seasonal plaid wrapping paper to act as a backdrop for our hand-painted Christmas Trees sign. (Check out how I made my wrapping paper sign here.) The combo of wood carved pines and white glittery trees creates balance. My beautiful eucalyptus garland is thick and lush on our large barn beam mantle. A string of white wool garland and the kids’ Christmas stockings add the final touch.
Our new blanket ladder is special to us as it’s from an old Wisconsin barn that we discovered at a cute local vintage shop. Add a plaid blanket and these cool bronze cowbells and it’s ready for Christmas!
We keep our tree simple. The real tree speaks for itself and smells glorious! Filling our house with the scent of Canaan fir. All of the ornaments we’ve collected over the years bring back so many Christmas memories and we love looking at each one. I added the faux fur white garland this year and I just love it!

FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS KITCHEN
Our kitchen is simple. Just add a little greenery around the tops of the cabinets, some twinkle lights, and a large Merry Christmas sign and we’re good to go!
I put more effort into the kids kitchen which is Christmas Truck themed like Levi’s bedroom and I just love how festive it looks for Christmas. A seasonal sign, a banner, and pieces to decorate the top of the fridge make it easy to transform the kids’ cute little kitchen into their own decorated space for play and fun.
My new Meet Me Under the Mistletoe sign with a sprig of mistletoe hanging underneath is my new fav! It’s fits right into our kitchen decor and I wish I could keep it up all year long!
We love Christmas themed coffee and hot cocoa in our household. My handmade Hot Cocoa wooden sign set and bead garland by Tami Jeane Home Decor make this cake stand so festive! Add a few bowls of candy cane stirs, Santa napkins, and a cute Christmas mug and you’re set!
