I still need to add a few heirloom pumpkins, but I love my fall front porch decor this year. The colorful mums really bring the season to life with those vibrant fall tones. These are locally grown flowers. I got them right away at the end of August before they were picked over for the season.
I’ve had my wreath forever, but I absolutely adore it, and haven’t found anything I’ve liked better over the years. So, I just keep hanging this TJmaxx find. I add a seasonal wreath to my door for all holidays as it’s the focal point of the entire porch.
I try to cluster my flowers in groupings of three, as well as play with the heights. You can see that I did that on both sides of the door. I played with various vases and containers, but kept them in the white and galvanized metal color family.
Shopping what I already have and moving items around for a different look keeps things more budget friendly each year. The only items that are truly new are the mums themselves, the black lanterns, and the Fall porch sign was new last year. This “Oh, hello Fall” porch sign is one of my most clicked links right now from the blog post I wrote last year about Our Fall Front Porch! It’s going viral on Pinterest!
You can find the Fall sign here from a cute Etsy shop for a reasonable price! I love supporting small shops when possible.
Since most of the items shown are not new, I tried to link similar items so that you could recreate the look. Fall front porches are my favorite to put together! All you really need are fresh colorful mums, a wreath you love, and a fun porch sign to create a beautiful look. I even used my same welcome rugs I’ve used all summer. I thought they were neutral enough to not have to change them out.

I do plan on adding a few pumpkins to the porch as temps get cooler! I love the subdued hues of heirloom pumpkins and their funky shapes.
What’s your favorite way to decorate your front porch?
Just beautiful! I love it! Love your house color!
Thank you so much!
What is the paint color on the outside of your home. Thank you.
It’s actually vinyl siding! It’s Deep Granite Mastic Ply Gem brand.
Do you know what color stain your front porch beams are? We have now bought and tested 4 different stain colors but I really want something similar to your color. Thanks!
It was sort of a mistake color! They did them in Charwood semi transparent stain by Sherwin Williams but I thought they were too gray so I had them go over the wood with Chestnut from the same line. 🙂
