My front porch is one of my favorite spaces to decorate, especially in fall. It’s the first space someone sees as they come up to our home. I can see it as I drive up the road and it’s a welcoming first impression. I love to change it up with each season or holiday.
First, I love to visit a local greenhouse to set the stage with plants. This year, I chose fall grasses, purple mums, large cabbage, and quirky looking pumpkins. A layered rug look is my favorite. This buffalo check layering rug has been around for several years. I just pop it in the washer, let it air dry, and store it away until fall comes around again. I use it for my Christmas front porch too, though! Love getting that double duty out of it. I just switch up the doormat on top.

I wish I could link this wreath, but it was one of those great TJMaxx Finds that I’m so glad I snagged. The twiggy look with faux fall bulbs is the perfect touch for my door. I also added a sawtooth hook to my “Oh hello FALL” wooden sign and hung it with nifty siding hooks so that it was more visible. I love how it turned out!
