As a third time mama, I’ve been able to test out so many cool baby feeding essentials. In this post, I’m sharing our most used baby feeding products that we love! First of all, I’m drawn to how adorable and aesthetically pleasing baby products are these days! Can you tell I’m loving the muted pastels? The color palette fits right in with our home.
Micuna OVO chair was gifted to me. All opinions are my own.
With Olivia I’m trying out the practice of Baby Led Weaning and introducing her to more solids and varieties of flavors rather than just your average puree. She loves using her fine motor skills for grasping at the food. My favorite resource to follow is Solid Starts on Instagram. I haven’t purchased their program, but I find their stories and feed most helpful in learning how to serve up certain foods to Olivia. I hope this practice will help expand her palette and desire for interesting flavors.
How gorgeous is her high chair?! A highchair that naturally fits into the design of our kitchen and also grows with Olivia is top of my list of baby feeding essentials. Our Micuna OVO High Chair is crafted in Spain with eco-friendly practices and sustainable forests. Micuna is recognized for their commitment to design quality and safety. They are one of the first Spanish companies to comply with the high standards of European quality and safety.
This beautiful chair quickly converts to a desk or toddler chair once Olivia and I are both ready for the next step. I love that the high chair has multiple uses! It’s so gorgeous!
I went on the hunt for non-toxic utensils, plates, and sippy cups. I decided to go with food-grade silicone solutions. I love the suction on these divided plates. They even come with lids so you can store food right inside them. I throw them on the top rack of my dishwasher for washing, so they are easy to clean too!
Her silicone sippy cup is soft and easy on her teeth. It doesn’t leak as it squeezed. The design is really innovative to allow it to squish but not leak from the seam. However, it doesn’t have a travel top so it can leak from the spout. I will have to find something else for travel. I’m thinking of looking into stainless steel for a travel cup. Although, I can also just make sure to bring her silicone cup and place it directly in a cup holder rather than the diaper bag for on-the-go.
Let’s chat about bibs! I love this high-necked option that’s super easy to rinse and dries quickly for the next feed. (I put it on Olivia right over her high chair straps so that I don’t have to clean those either!) This same brand has full sleeved options that I also have for more messy feeding meals like spaghetti sauce or yogurt! I’m drawn to the color and pattern options that this brand offers.
I’m going to link of up a list of more of my favorite baby feeding essentials here. The travel high chair linked is by far my most used baby product and makes feeding Olivia at other people’s homes and restaurants SO MUCH EASIER. I’ve used this for each of my kids! It’s held up so well the 8 years we’ve owned it!
I also love the silicone utensils I have linked here because they serve as both a teether and a spoon. I will roll smashed avocado on the teether side and hand it to Olivia for eating and soothing those gums. She’s been popping teeth much faster than my other two children.
Another tip is to use a silicone fresh food feeder for frozen fruit or even frozen breastmilk to both feed her and soothe teething babies gums! It serves as double duty! 🙂 The brand I linked comes in many muted color options that I adore.
