Family dinners have always been one of my favorite traditions. As our kids get older and more activities get slotted into the calendar, I find it even more important to hold on to that time we spend together gathered around the dinner table. Having a handful of quick dinner ideas like my Fettuccini and Meatballs recipe, comes in clutch for our busier evenings.
As a mom who is mindful of the ingredients that my family eats on a regular basis, I skip the jar of alfredo, for my simple homemade version. (I promise, you’ll never go back once you realize how easy it is to make your own!) Yes, there are a few more steps to making your own alfredo sauce, but here’s my time-saving trick… Enter Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotics Ever Meatballs!
Like I said, quality ingredients are important to me as a mom, and Jones Dairy Farm Meatballs fit the bill. They are made with real ingredients without any breadcrumbs or allergens like soy and dairy. Plus, they are certified Gluten-Free. You can choose either pork or chicken meatballs and neither of them include nitrates, nitrites or preservatives. Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotic Meatballs are made with just five simple ingredients, much like the yummy sauce I’m going to share next.
Family Fettuccine and Meatballs Recipe
Alfredo Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Grassfed Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1 1/2 cups mix of Parmesan and Mozzarella Cheese
- Sea Salt + Pepper to taste
Meal Ingredients
- Chicken or Pork Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotics Ever Meatballs
- Fettuccini Noodles
- Fresh Basil
Recipe Instructions
Get water boiling for your fettuccini noodles and cook according to the box instructions.
Heat a sauce pan to medium heat and add butter. Once melted, add garlic. Give that a stir before adding the heavy whipping cream. Once bubbling, lower heat to Medium/Low and stir in your shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the stovetop temperature to Low and stir occasionally.
Meanwhile, you can choose either microwave or stovetop instructions to prepare your already fully cooked Jones No Antibiotics Ever Meatballs. I prefer the stovetop method, for that little bit of a crispy cook on the outside of the meatballs. Yummm!
Pair this scrumptious family fettuccini and meatballs dinner with a fresh salad and bakery bread for an easy dinner the entire family will love.
Jones Dairy Farm is a seventh-generation family owned and operated breakfast meat company located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. They still make products on their original farmland that the family has owned for over 130 years. They traditionally make all-natural breakfast sausage and dry aged bacon with clean labels and real ingredients. (I have the fully cooked pork breakfast sausage in my freezer right now, and let me tell you, it’s delicious and so convenient!) I was so excited to find out that they recently launched their meatball varieties as well! You can find Jones No Antibiotics Ever Meatballs locally at Woodman’s or Sendik’s in the freezer section.
It gets tricky maintaining our beloved family dinners, but quick recipes like this one make it possible. These quality frozen meatballs make it easy for me to serve a nutritious dinner while juggling the family schedule.
