Christmas Madness & Magic

Christmas Madness & Magic

Christmas Eve ended up being pretty rough for Evelyn. We were traveling and hoped she’d fall asleep in the car, but of course that did not happen. By the time we got to the party, she was already a bit cranky and it didn’t help that she was fighting a cold and teething! She ended up gettingRead more

18 Months of Evelyn

December 18, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 1 Comment

“Time flies.” “They grow up so fast.” “They’ll be off to college before you know it.” These are all typical sayings you hear as a new mom and while they are totally cliché, they are 100% true! While Evelyn is not quite ready for college at 18 months old, she is growing fast and IRead more

Christmas Tree Tradition

December 7, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 7 Comments

When you have a young family you get to decide what will become your own family traditions. Traditions that your kids will grow up knowing and remembering when they look back at their childhood. Ever since Jeremy and I started dating we always took a day to pick out a real Christmas tree. You can’tRead more

Toddler Trick: Lock Features on your iPad

December 4, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 4 Comments

If you have a toddler who uses your iPad you definitely need to know this trick! I have an iPad Mini with a few toddler apps and videos on it for Evelyn. She immediately fell in love with the Home button which would subsequently take her out of the app causing a temper tantrum because her gameRead more

Making Colorful Playdough

November 30, 2015May 15, 2016 - Sarah 6 Comments

While dad’s away the girls will play! Jeremy was gone hunting last weekend so Evelyn and I made playdough. The real ingredients are a little messy, so I gave Evie a set of spoons, a mixing bowl, cheerios and animal crackers so that she felt part of the cooking process. She mixed her ingredients whileRead more

Eat, Drink & Be Thankful for Today

November 25, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 2 Comments

In a world that moves so fast it’s easy to get caught up thinking about tomorrow and planning for the future, but today I’d like to slow down and be thankful for the memories I’ve built and the moments happening right now. We’re all guilty of constantly thinking ahead – the changes we can make,Read more

These are a few of my favorite baby things…

November 19, 2015June 21, 2016 - Sarah 6 Comments

I remember feeling so overwhelmed when it came to starting my baby registry. I asked for advice from other parents and I would hear generic terms like bottles, blankets, diapers, baby monitor, etc. I remember thinking, right, but what EXACTLY should I buy because there are thousands of items to choose from for each babyRead more

Playing with Pumpkins

November 18, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 4 Comments

It’s not too late to play with pumpkins this fall! Evelyn loved picking out pumpkins for the family at a local farm down the road from our home. It was one of those perfect fall days for being outside – colorful leaves, a cool breeze, but warm sun and that scent of autumn in theRead more

Timeline to Motherhood

November 14, 2015January 8, 2016 - Sarah 2 Comments

TIMELINE TO MOTHERHOOD: 2009 | A tall and handsome guy named Jeremy took me out for dinner and a movie and I knew I would soon be his girlfriend. 2011 | We went hiking through Parfrey’s Glen and in that moment when we reached the bottom of a beautiful lush ravine, I become his fiancé. 2012Read more

When you open your email and your favorite nontoxic swap brand @caraway_home features YOU in their entire email 🤯✨

And yes it’s true. These baking sheets are incredible. I’ve tested them side by side with other pans and the difference is real. Cookies bake more evenly, slide right off, and cleanup is effortless. I truly can’t say enough good things. I love my cookware and bakeware so much.

Next on my wish list the double burner griddle and round cake pan 👀

I bought two plain cakes and decided to trust the vision… and somehow a whole little fairy garden came to life 🧚✨

Nothing fancy, just sprinkles, shimmer, and a little imagination. Watching it all come together made it feel even more special than ordering one.

Would you ever try decorating your own birthday cake, or are you team “leave it to the pros”? 🌸

Happy birthday to my sweet Olivia Jay 🌈

My rainbow baby, such a special part of our family. You love dancing, your baby doll Mandy (never forget Mandy 💕), and relaxing with your thumb and a little hair twirl. Your favorite color changes by the hour, but your love for French fries? That’s forever 🍟

You can craft with me for hours and never want to stop, and you are fearless in everything you try - swim, gymnastics, ballet… you jump right in with that brave little heart of yours.

Everywhere you go, you light up the room. You ask everyone their name, introduce yourself, and somehow leave every store with a new friend. You love your Disney princesses, baby dolls, Barbies, dresses, and all the fancy shoes.

You tell me you’re a big girl now… but sweet girl, you will always be my baby.

We love you more than words could ever hold. 💖

I thrifted this box before vacation… and I have ZERO memory of what’s inside 😅

All I remember is it felt heavy, breakable… and apparently I was already in a Christmas state of mind 🎄

Is it too early to thrift Christmas… or is this actually genius?? 😂

This could be the best haul or a full “what was I thinking” moment. Let’s find out together 👀

For YEARS I’ve tried everything to keep birds from turning my patio into their personal bathroom… a fan running nonstop, fake snakes, dinosaurs (yes 😂), all the flashy things… NOTHING worked.

But I think I finally found the solution 🙌🏼

My dad used this owl all last summer and swears by it — no more mess on his black Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. So I’m giving it a shot! Right now she’s just sitting on my chair (temporary placement lol), but I’m adding a stake and moving her into the landscaping ASAP.

And let me tell you… I had JUST put my cushions out and they were already covered in poop 😩

I’m already planning to grab another one for the front yard because apparently my driveway + basketball hoop is also prime bird real estate 🫠

You don’t understand how excited I am about this 😂 If this works, it’s a GAME CHANGER.

Comment “BIRD” or “OWL” and I’ll send you the details 🦉✨
