We just moved into our new home! I pretty much had to dive into the world of interior design over the last 6 months and I’ve been loving every minute of it. One of the rooms I am most excited about is our master bathroom with its modern farmhouse vibe.
I’ve linked up everything I was able to to make it easy for you to shop for.

Modern Farmhouse Master Bathroom
- Vanity Lights | I went with brushed nickel shaded lights from Costco. I splurged on other lights, so I chose a budget friendly, yet stylish, option in the master bathroom.
- Mirrors | I opted for two driftwood framed mirrors to add a warm wood tone to the gray and white bathroom.
- Vanity | I went with a dresser-like vanity rather than a built-in unit from the builder.
- Faucets | I used brushed nickel in both of my bathrooms.
- Shower Head & Trim | We upgraded to an 8-inch rain shower head.
- Flooring | I love the look of the white and gray large 12×24 rectangular tiles we went with. It is a nice contrast to the smaller subway tile in the shower.
- Shower Main Tile | We went with a glossy smoke gray subway tile for a modern yet classic style.
- Shower Accent Tile | I was leaning towards hexagon marble tile but my husband loved this flat-cut stone we ended up choosing. It makes it feel like a spa!
- TP holder | This style makes changing the toilet paper roll super easy… maybe more people will try it rather than just me! 😉 (Actually, my hubby claims I never change it, ha!)
- Hooks | I wanted towel hooks rather than towel bars in my bathroom.
- Laundry Hamper | How cool is this one?
- Glass Jars | I love storing cotton swabs, cotton balls and other bathroom necessities in decorative clear jars.
- Towels | I’m obsessed with Turkish towels and I want them all over my house!
- Towel Ring | I was thinking about adding a towel ring next to the vanity or between the two mirrors.
- Planters | These little planters are so cute for succulents! My plan is to add plants throughout my house for color and texture. I also love having a little piece of nature inside my home.
What’s your favorite piece?! Make sure you check out our overall design inspiration post here. I’ll be posting room reveals after we get our home decorated and unpacked!
I can’t wait to see your home in person!
This is such cute inspiration! I just moved into my new house not long ago, so this is fun to see and get ideas.
Oooo a whole new house to decorate!!! Love it!
What’s the name of the tile you used. Gorgeous home!
Thank you! It’s Burano 12″ x 24″ Ceramic Field Tile in Bianco Valetta by Interceramic
