Blueberry Maple Waffle Sundae Recipe

Who’s ready to kick off summer with ice cream sundaes?! If you know my family well, you know that we LOVE our ice cream. I’ve got a tasty sundae recipe idea that’s easy to put together and, of course, delicious.

I’m a little obsessed with local pure maple syrup which is the inspiration for my sundae concoction. I’m calling it the Blueberry Maple Waffle Sundae and there are just a few key ingredients to whip up this fresh tasting dessert.

I use creamy Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice Cream as the base, sprinkle it with fresh blueberries, a swirl of Reddi-wip Whipped Topping, a generous drizzle of maple syrup, chunks of hot crispy waffles, and a dash of cinnamon for a little extra kick.

The trick is to serve the sundae while the waffle chunks are still hot. I grabbed a waffle from my freezer, popped it in the toaster oven, and then assembled the rest while my waffle got toasty. Scoop your desired amount of Blue Bunny Vanilla fun-filled ice cream for pure enjoyment. Unleash the joy of Reddi-wip Whipped Topping by swirling just the right amount on top. Grab a spoonful of your favorite pure maple syrup. Friends of ours decided to try their hands at tapping their own maple trees this year and gifted us a mason jar of their very first batch. I’ve always loved maple syrup on vanilla ice cream! Yum!

Add chunks of the toasty waffles and a dash of cinnamon and your Blueberry Maple Waffle Ice Cream Sundae is ready to enjoy.
