One of my favorite spots to decorate each holiday season is the kids’ kitchen set. It’s right in our kitchen, so that Evie and Levi can play and cook along with me. It’s the perfect little nook to keep them busy, and the kitchen’s modern style matches our own kitchen. It’s like my mini-me kitchen! 🙂

I love grabbing a few things from Target’s Dollar Spot to create a festive scene that they can help decorate. Evie helped unwrap and place the 4th of July decorations for her kitchen set. It turns into both a cute activity for us to do together and a decorative spot to add a little fun during a holiday.

Flags are the perfect way to decorate for the 4th of July and I always add a themed garland above the set. I love the tassels and stars in this one. A little wooden USA sign, a red and blue striped towel, and a festive wreath complete the 4th of July themed kitchen for kids!
