I’ve been interested in an air purifier for a while now, as I’ve slowly implemented non-toxic ways to improve my family’s quality of life. Now more than ever, indoor air quality is a priority. Let’s take a deeper look into why the Molekule Air Purifier is another great way to improve how we enjoy our home.
If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve followed my journey over the last couple of years. We’ve made great strides as a family to reduce our overall chemical load. We’ve introduced non-toxic cleaners into our routine and increased our use of clean beauty products. We are more mindful of our food purchases. We strive to rid of fake fragrances such as wall plug-ins and fabric fresheners, and have replaced them with essential oils and natural scents.
An air purifier is another great way to improve the space where we live. Let’s take a look.
ABOUT MOLEKULE
Molekule is a science company that has created this revolutionary new kind of air purifier. Instead of just trying to collect pollutants on filters, Molekule air purifiers use PECO technology to actually destroy them at the molecular level to improve indoor air quality. What is PECO? It’s Photo Electrochemical Oxidation. Now that’s a mouthful!
Yogi Goswami, Molekule’s inventor, created Molekule as part of his search for clean air in response to his son’s asthma attacks and allergies. The Molekule Air is designed to clean the air in a room up to 600 square feet every hour using two filters. The first is a pre-filter which captures dust and larger particles. The second is the PECO filter which is coated with a proprietary catalyst that breaks down bacteria, viruses and other pollutants. According to the Molekule website, PECO destroys pollutants 1000x smaller than what the HEPA standard tests for.
Let me say it one more time – Molekule’s PECO technology DESTROYS mold, bacteria and viruses rather than just collecting them. That makes me feel so happy for my family.
MOLEKULE AIR
There are a variety of Molekule air purifiers to choose from. We have the Molekule Air which is best for rooms up to 600 square feet. It mostly resides in the center of our open concept living area, but we also move it into our bedroom while we sleep from time to time.
As an aesthetic person, my heart is happy with the sleek canister design adorned with a tan leather strap for ease of portability. It doesn’t look like an eye sore in the room. It actually adds to my home’s décor. In fact, many of you have spotted it in my Instagram stories and have asked what it is! It’s really eye catching… in a good way!
The touchscreen display makes it easy to use. I mostly run it on AUTO, but I will change it to BOOST when we are cooking or dusting. Download the app to change the setting from your phone and check the quality of the filters. You can even set up auto-shipments for new filters so you don’t forget.
I asked Molekule for a code to share with you guys and they came through! {affiliate link} Use discount SUGARMAPLE for $25 off Molekule Air Mini, $32 off Molekule Air Mini+, $50 off Air, $77 off Molekule Air Pro at checkout!
