I remember “borrowing” my mom’s bottle of Olay face moisturizer when I was a teenager and loving the way it felt on my skin. Olay is a company that has stood the test of time and has been around since the 1950’s. But don’t worry, Olay is no longer the products that our mothers used. The brand has been redefined to fit today’s woman and is certainly not stuck in the past! To reintroduce myself to the Olay of today, I completed the 28 Days of Olay Study and discovered how great their anti-aging products are.
Honestly, up until now I’ve been neglecting my skin care routine… always putting myself in that “I’m still too young for that” category. Now that I’m in my early thirties, I’m JUST now implementing anti-aging products into my daily routine. I wish would have started sooner!
With the market being so saturated with beauty products, I didn’t really know where to start or what to try. That’s where Olay comes in. They have a fun Skin Advisor Tool that tells you the age of your skin and recommends Olay products that fit your results! Check this out… I took a selfie, uploaded it, and the Skin Advisor analyzed my skin coloring, eye lines, and wrinkles – giving me an estimated skin age and recommended products to try.
Based on my results, I went out to Walmart and purchased Olay’s Total Effects Daily Moisturizer and Regenerist Regenerating Serum to get started. Now that I’ve established a habit of using anti-aging products, I’d love to add Olay Ultimate Eye Cream to my routine as well, which is another one of the products recommended to me through the skin analysis.
My skin feels sooo hydrated and healthy after completing the 28 Days of Olay Study. Since my estimated skin age was only 28 (yes!!!), I didn’t see huge results as far as diminished wrinkles since I don’t have many to begin with. But, what I did notice was the beautiful feeling of my skin and just knowing that I’m preventing advanced skin aging but using these products now and not waiting until the damage is done. I’m 32 years old, and I’m so glad I established this new habit.
At what age did you introduce anti-aging products into your everyday routine? Am I the only one this late to the game? 🙂
